Automatic In-Track Wheel Profile Measurement System

WheelView� is an automatic wayside detection system that is designed to measure wheel profiles of a moving train. WheelView is used to inspect wheels derailment prevention, preventative maintenance, maintenance scheduling, and to reduce track and rail damage caused by excessively worn wheels.

The WheelView system comes with the complete software package to maintain measured wheel records in a database application. In the provided software, a single wheel, car, or train can be searched and traced for wear rate analysis, maintenance scheduling, etc.
