Beena Vision Systems Inc. is the leading manufacturer of vision-based automatic wayside inspection systems for the railroad industry. Over the last fifteen years, Beena Vision has pioneered and developed a number of innovative products using sophisticated machine vision and non-contact measurement technologies. These products are specifically designed to provide valuable information in a variety of areas to effectively assess railcar components and track safety conditions.
Beena Vision offers automatic wayside and on-board measurement and inspection systems, as well as innovative handheld products for wheel and track measurement.
Our wayside monitoring systems are designed and manufactured for the most demanding applications. We take pride in our high levels of accuracy and system availability, and our systems have a reputation for being tough and durable even in the railway environment. This has been the result of years of design, testing, and field experience with installed systems worldwide.
Beena Vision has installed many systems at all major American Class 1 railroads including BNSF, UP (Union Pacific), NS (Norfolk Southern), CSXT and has worked closely with AAR/TTCI in developing new technologies. Several of our systems are successfully deployed in Europe, South America, and Middle East.
Beena Vision currently has an extensive R&D program to develop additional advanced systems for automatic monitoring of several critical components of freight and passenger cars, bogies, locomotives, and track components.

- Beena Vision will present in Annual Wheel/Rail Interaction Conference (WRI 2013, May 6-9), Principles Course, in Chicago.
- In 2013, Beena Vision will install several of its most recent innovative product for Wheel Surface Inspection as a full blown wayside detector in North America.
- Beena Vision presented a paper in RSII 2013 (Rail Safety and Incident Investigation) 2013 in Orlando, FL called “Automated Machine Vision Systems: The Future of Rolling Stock Inspection on North American Railways”.
- Beena Vision Presented a paper in IHHA 2013 (International Heavy Haul Association) 2013 in New Delhi, India called “Application of Machine Vision Technology in Coupler Securement Inspection”.
- September 2012: Beena Vision moved to its new facility in Norcross GA to improve its production capacity and quality of service. The new facility has more than 40,000 square foot of office space and production facility as well as more than 20,000 square foot of open air test facility equipped with a short test track and rolling stock. The facility has another 25,000 square foot of expansion capacity.
